This book is written in bilingual (Vietnamese and English) telling the story of a young journalist working for the French Television (ORTF) in 1967, as a war correspondent, she was assigned to many hot spots at that time such as: Algerian war (North Africa), Yom Kippur (seven days war) Middle-East, Vietnam war and finally she also covered the Peace Talk in Paris from 1968 to 1971 as well.
Apart from being the war correspondent, she is also an author of more than twenty five novels, many short stories and essays, a poet, a fervent activist for “Freedom of Expression” and a “Nobel Prize” nominee in Literature in 2009.
